Front EndLets be honest the Cayenne isn't exactly the most beautiful of cars - even I'll admit that, and I'm a hardcore Porsche nut. However, love it or hate it you have to admit that the design is a powerful one more than matching its performance, and it definitely sticks in your mind. The front end of the 2008 Cayenne, Cayenne S & the Cayenne GTS incorporates the new H7 projector beam headlights, whereas the Turbo has the new Bi-Xenon headlights - which incorporates static & dynamic cornering lights (the type that follow the bend in the road). Very swish. There are also changes to the air intakes on the front end, with the Turbo having a much larger central intake. The Turbo also has a large bulge in its bonnet - the kind that says "look out, I'm big, mean & very fast!" Rear EndSexy LED side & brake lights now reside in the new rear light modules. And, depending on the model, there are single or dual tailpipes which are integrated into the rear apron. With the new F1 style rear diffuser & roof spoiler design, the (nerdy bit) drag coefficient of all the Cayenne models has been reduced. |
