All Cayenne models have a "Sport" mode, with a choice of comfort options - Normal or High-Performance (Sport) drivetrain & chassis set-ups. When you press that button the word "sport" appears in the display cluster - though I think it should be "whoa, this is fast" displayed! When you flick that switch, the vehicle turns into a two-ton race car. The pedal response is quicker, the engine is "tweaked" and if you have the Tiptronic S option, the up/down shifts are performed later/earlier. If you have a vehicle with the chassis control & active suspension kits, then you'll find the car hunkering down on the road, with a much firmer ride & a more positive feel to the steering, and the traction control helping you to keep it on the planet. |
