Performance

As you'd expect, each version of the Cayenne has differing performance, but can't be overlooked is how well each version can handle heavy trailer loads. Plus with the now obligatory "Sport Mode" it has become even more of a sporting champion.

Each models performance is shown below (Official figures from Porsche):

Cayenne - 3.6ltr V6, putting out 290bhp @ 6200 rpm, with a maximum torque of 385Nm at 3000rpm. 0-62mph (100kmh) in 8.1 seconds (manual box) and a top speed of 141mph (227kmh).

Cayenne S - 4.8ltr V8 (naturally aspirated), putting out 385bhp @ 6200rpm. 0-62mph (100kmh) in 6.6 seconds (manual) or 6.8 seconds (Tiptronic S) and a top speed of 157mph (252 kmh).

Cayenne GTS - 4.8ltr V8 (naturally aspirated), putting out 405bhp @ 6500rpm. 0-62mph (100kmh) in 6.1 seconds (manual), and a top speed of 157mph (253 kmh).

Cayenne Turbo - 4.8ltr V8 (twin turbo), putting out 500bhp @ 6000rpm. 0-62mph (100 kmh) in a blistering 5.1 seconds, with a top speed of 171mph (275 kmh).
