Parking Aids

The audio/visual parking aid is fitted as standard on the Turbo, and is an optional extra on the other models.

As with most other vehicles fitted with such a system, it uses an acoustic signal and front/rear displays to warn you of any obstacles in front/behind the vehicle when parking.

A "traffic light" warning display on the dash lights up when it senses an obstacle. A warning tone also sounds - increasing in rapidity as the obstacle is approached.

Rather niftily, you are also able to add a reversing camera, which transmits colour pictures to the PCM display - handy when reversing, or for spotting hazards whilst off-roading.

And probably a good idea considering the size of the Cayenne.

The camera is automatically retracted when not in use.
