Direct Fuel Injection

All of the Cayenne models now feature direct fuel injection. This basically means that instead of the fuel being injected into an intake manifold, it is injected directly into the combustion chamber.

Whilst you wouldn't believe it, the direct fuel injection process can actually help performance & efficiency, as the fuel/air mix is constantly monitored. Sensors provide accurate emissions control as well, so you're not only saving money by being more efficient, you're saving the planet too.
